Blast from the past

Hi to all who read this I am Barry Harrison and I played for Dafen in the black and white days. Really enjoyed going through the pages of this site well done to Paul and others involved.
I loved playing for Dafen and have many memories. Anyone remember the Senior cup semi final at Dafen when the ref( Rob Nather??) walked off during extra time having ripped up his cards, thrown his whistle into the field and pulled off his referees badge? John Andrews had to talk him out of his dressing room to return and finish the game! Ah happy days.
All the best to Dafen AFC long may you flourish.

Hi Barry. Nice to see some of the 'old guard' using the site! Remember that game you were on about, John Andrews was like Henry Kissenger that day! Also remember a mental night out in Narbeth when the roo-cha-cha was much to the fore!!
Fancy a run-out in the Vets this year? If not come down one afternoon there's still a few old timers playing! Not me though ha!
Keep visiting..... 1st Vets game on 21st Sept :!:

Hi Paul, yes remember the Narberth game I had a few too many got a bit lippy and nearly got knifed by a biker, I think Glan grabbed me and threw me out....happy days!!. Roo cha cha indeed.
I would love a game some day as the spirit is still willing but the flesh is oh so weak. However my contract will stipulate that I can only be released to play if I can take all penalties, direct free kicks and be allowed to goalhang without the offside rule implementation applying to me. No change there I can hear them saying.
