Speaking to a senior member of our club last night and he made a good point. In both cup finals we played in recently there was little or no cards being shown in the first half, while the second half saw yellow and red cards thrown round like confetti What happened at half time Was there a common denominator

By half time they know they haven't taken much cash on the gate so they make it back in the only way available to them .
Seriously though it spoiled what was an evenly contested game.
