Welcome to the forum this is the place to debate anything, the guestbook is for guests and clem has set this up for us to debate, argue, bitch, it's a shame for it to go to waste, so.......
3-5-2, if the manager wants to play a system and feels he has the players capable of playing the system then it's his call, obviously they must do a bit of work on it in training and with 5 in midfield at least 1 of these should be a holding player preferably 2, but if the opposition play 3 upfront you must change your formation, with intelligent/fit players this gives you more flexibility than wasting players at the back when most teams only play 2 upfront.

yes the manager goes with the formation he thinks is right, and yes i know how 3-5-2 works and what ways its benificial, if you have total 11 fit players on the pitch then yes it can work as proven by seaside, but i feel that the players we have defending aint sharp or fit enough to cover intelligent through balls behind the wing back, that was blatant against camford,ye we gave them a close game, but i feel they attacked us constantly knocking balls in the open spaces

Don't watch many games these days so can't comment on the actual team/players, I just responded to your point of questioning why the manager plays 3-5-2, it's his call and neither you or I can alter it, my personal favourite is 4-3-3 with the full backs bombing on at every opportunity. :?
